PDD Test Advice

I just took PPD today and it honestly seemed like an exam meant for engineers. Looking towards next week when I take PDD, any advice on what to study?

  Hi Corey. What makes you say it felt like an exam for engineers? I'm taking PPD on Sunday. Just curious. 

  Taking PDD in 4 weeks. I heard Amber book is good, along with ASC and graphic standards.

  Hi Steven, 

  There were multiple questions I received on the exam were oddly specific about certain standards and regulations that I had never heard of before.   I can recall the exam asking for a dimension based on a section from an engineering manual.  Other than that I was absolutely stunned when I saw the amount of specific questions.

  Regardless, I would focus on the zoning and usage and building heights.  That was very common. I was a bit shocked at how few questions related to structure, mechanical systems, and plumbing.
