PDD Pass!! What worked for me
HI Every one,
Let me start by saying this is really a cumulative learning process, I have been taking the test in order and that works for me.
I was surprised I got a few calculation questions, but do not freak out they are easy to answer and the formulas are either given there or the simple ones.
For this test I studies reviewed:
1.- AMBER Books- Highly recommendede, take your time to go over ALL the videos, somehow the content sticks and is very in line with the exam content. This was the key, I think for passing this exam.
2.- Architectural graphic standard. I reviewed (not read) the whole book (ridiculous small print). Look at all the details and graphics for ADA, Wall Details, Roof, Etc.
3.- MEEB again look at all the graphics and relate them to the videos in the Amber Book Videos.
4.- Ballast 5.0 Review Manual. By the time I got to this exam I have read all the sections at least once. Like I said Content from previous exams will be showing up.
5.- Designer Hacks Practice Exams. I practiced until I started getting a lot of repeated questions and I reviewed the Items I was lacking at.
Manage your time, I skipped and marked the calculations questions if I knew it was going to take long. Finished the test with only 40 minutes left but I never gave up and went thru all the marked questions and answered, and some of them were open answer no multiple choice, so I had to have something there, could not leave them blank. Read the questions, sometimes the answer is easier than it looks, simple multiplication.Stay calm.
I passed this one on the first try but it has not been the case all the time, this tests are tough but not impossible, do not loose focus, and do not get dissapointed if you dont pass, take notes, go back to study and re-test.
Good luck,
for me PPD and CE left. I'm on it already.

Thanks Jorge for the inputs.
CE is very easy you will handle it very well.
PPD is very similar to PDD so you will be good on that.
Positive attitude is the best approach on every test.
If we want to became responsible, responsive and working by the ethics that is the way to go ...studying and applying the knowledge gotten to the safety and comfort of people.
Good luck.
Ron.
