Hi Christine, Congrats for your pass! I registered for the ARE boot camp this Aug. May I ask how long it took you to finish the exam after you the boot camp ends? Thanks.

Congratulations again, Christine!  I agree with everything you said about the Bootcamp.  It has been an integral part of my past passes, and will be an integral part of any future passes (which I hope to report back with soon! ha!).

@kemingluo I had two children during my time with the YA Bootcamp. That being said it took me much longer than it has for everyone else. It took me about 3.5 years to get through 5 exams. Of course everyone it different. I know people who have passed them all on the first try. I also know people who have taken one exam 4-5 times. Both scenarios of course have many variables. Professional experience, comfort level with exams in general and of course the momentum. Meaning, taking long breaks between exams can be detrimental. If I could give any advice it would be do not take long breaks between exams, pass or fail.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions in the future. Good luck with everything! You will love the bootcamp!

I personally struggled with test anxiety in the beginning of my exams and eventually sought out an hypnotist.

Thanks for your answer, Christine. I've been working on the exam on and off for about two years and still couldn't get my first pass. The frustration truly beat me up. Feels like the boot camp is my last chance.

Congrats again and wish you all the best for your future career!

Congratulations on the completion of your ARE's! I just started my YA Bootcamp journey last month and I am loving it so far. Just like you said, the group not only guides you on your testing process but it also guides you on your journey of becoming a successful architect and I truly appreciate and value the process of collaborating with all the other Bootcampers out there. Good luck to you in the future!
