Passed PcM this week.
I want to keep giving thanks to the master of the Universe for peace and the spirit of persistence. I understand that I have to convince myself that "Iwant this." And I must oblige to the process.
BIG thank you to NCARB and the AIA. I'm convinced you are right for the process established. And even I may be frustrated that "That's the wayit is." I otter my loyals." Nods to you guys.
I read all the material recommended by NCARB in the handbook. I initially attempted to retain these text. But this is an impassable road. Do not attempt to retain all this material. Especially knowing the exams are not for "digest and regurgitate" (so to speak). It's more about understanding concepts, principles and regulations and RISK management in actual scenarios.
Other material references are Designer Hacks, Archiprep-thanks for your love AIA, Ballast-don't substitute for AHPP, Gen2-Ultimate WholeEnchilada and Hyperfine-I call you "SUPER DUPER COOPER." Thank you. For enabling me to pass my first ARE exam after starting architecture school in 1999. It's been a mucho miserable journey. But, I blame MYSELF. Note: AHPP is the real deal as a study reference.
If anyone out there has been struggling. Maybe the way I have. Probably, much more than I have. Do not throw in the towel. First, convince yourself for your passion towards Architecture.Take it EZ on yourself. As my job supervisor advised me after failing twice. "DO PRACTICE EXAMS." This is one of the most important thing I have done during the process towards passing PcM.
Thanks again NCARB.
