    Ballast review manual: site work design development chapter (12), lots of good info:
    Cool - 12°
    Temperate - 17.5°
    Hot/arid - 25°
    Hot/humid - 4°

    I like to remember by thinking of it as turning the building to face further and further away from 90° exposure to the western sun until you get to hot/humid which just wants to orient as best it can E-W to catch the most breeze!
