Hydronic Piping System

A series perimeter loop is similar to a one-pipe system with the exception that the series pipe actually goes through the convectors/radiators units and a one-pipe goes by the convectors/radiators with branch pipe lines (supply and return) to each convector/radiator. So the one-pipe would have better pressure I believe since it has the main one-pipe continuous bypassing.

With the one-pipe, you could have a shut-off on each convector/radiator unit for maintenance without shutting down the entire system.

    Check out this description.

Thanks for posting this, it helps me understand better also.

The question asks which system would supply equal flow and fluid temperature. Wouldn't the answer be C? I can see how D would have equal flow, but the last radiator in the series will not receive the same fluid temperature as the first radiator will.
