I passed PcM this morning after failing it once before.
Here's what I studied:
Schiff Hardin - Michael Hanahan Lectures. These gave very good insights into the business and legal practices of architecture and construction firms.
Must understand very very well firm's financing. Net multiplier, break even multiplier, overhead multipliers, accounting methods, etc. Not just study by heart but truly UNDERSTAND how it works. (Architect's Handbook of Professional Practice is an excellent resource for this)
Must understand very well different types of delivery methods, pros and cons. Relationship structures between owners, architect, contractor, const. manager, sub contractor, etc.
Must understand very well different types of business structures, pros and cons
Remember the different types of AIA contract docs.
