I passed all the AREs a while ago, back in September. I've been working and am NCARB certified as well. I don't know how to get or where to go to get my architectural stamp for stamping forms and drawings for NYS now that I've actually finished with the qualifications.
Please clarify this process and where I would go, etc. I would really appreciate it.
Also, are there any state minimum required insurances that I personally have to hold or is my employers' acceptable? Of course this is under the assumption that I would only be stamping work done for my employer.
If I ever want to do work on my own I would have to get my own private liability insurance. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding that as well? I'm new to this reality part of practicing. I am comfortable with contracts, and the phases of a project's development and scope etc., but insurances and seals, etc. are all new as I'm newly licensed and never had to do that stuff before.
I appreciate anyone's assistance, references to websites and resources, etc.
Thank you in advance for your assistance. I want to do things the correct way.
