    Jenny,

CONGRATS to you! Thank you for sharing your advice and your experience on tackling these exams!

I have 3 more to go (PPD, PDD and PjM)--I know a weird combo!

I'm currently studying for PPD retake. Did you buy any of the monographs? I have used monographs as a study tool also (The seismic, acoustic, indoor air quality and Fire protection monographs were extremely helpful). Did you solely use the freebies? I'm debating on purchasing the one below. I'm wondering if you have purchased any of the hard-copy ones and if so, what your opinion of them were. I think that this monograph in particular will be a good supplement to the other resources for PPD.

    Thank you and congrats again!

    Hi Tasanee,

Thank you! and good job - you are almost done as well! I did not purchase any of the monographs. For PPD, I think your $20 would be better spent on a used copy of the Architect's Studio Companion: https://www.google.com/search?q=architects+studio+companion&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS792US792&source=lnms&tbm=shop&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjy9pmo6PrgAhVr64MKHYeEDcAQ_AUIDigB&biw=1356&bih=786

ASC really breaks down the mechanical systems as well as structural systems and building types and goes into "which one do you choose for situation A vs situation B" which is ideal for the PPD exam.

    Good luck!!
