P&A passed. Posting notes & comments
Hello Community.
I passed P&A today - preliminary, actually, so I'm waiting a few days until it gets officially posted to my account.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you to this community - your comments and experiences are really helpful and useful.
So here are some comments which I hope can be useful to others...
...On taking the test & prep-tests:
I found this test harder than the previous two tests (Practice M. & Project M.). I studied for 10 weeks about 20 hours per week for this one, took 7 prep tests, and got +/-60's on all the prep tests - Kaplan, Black Spectacles, Design Hack. I had to RUSH through the real test - I only had 1 minutes and 28 seconds left when I finished - VERY tight on time. It really helped me to have taken 7 prep tests so I knew I could finish in time. There was some rather pour grammar on some of the questions which made me take extra time just to figure out what was being asked.
...On reference materials & key topics. See list below. There are some long books in this list (like Mech & Elect Equipment, the Site ones, and the Space Planning ones) but I bought and read them all - even Graphics Standards. It's certainly a few thousand pages of reading - a lot - but it's the only way I could really get comfortable and confident with the material.
- ARE 5.0 Handbook, PPI
- ARE 4.0 Kaplan on Programming, Planning and Practice
- Black Spectacles assets, videos, tests
- Brightwood tests

I also have a 35 page PDF of my study notes culled from the references about and organized by PPI categories. I'd be happy to share that PDF with people. If you want a copy, let me know through this forum and I'll email you a copy. I'd attach them here but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that.
Cheers and good luck to all.

In the event you don't get them before I take them down, since it seems like lots of people have responded to this thread, I bet my notes will be floating around the community in the future - so available.
