I'm a British licensed architect, and would like to get my license to work in California. I looked it into this a few years ago-before the Foreign Licensed Architect Path was offered. I did an EESA evaluation, which said I required 3 hours of laws and regulations. I was unable to complete this at the time due to family commitments.
Now I have the time to work towards licensure and would like to pursue the Foreign Licensed Architect Path to certification. However, as I already had my education assessed BY EESA, NCARB told me I still require the 3 hours of law and regulations. I'm a little confused? Can't I do the FLA path without this?
Does anyone have any advice/ experienced anything similar? THANKS!
