Standard testing information in PA exam

Good question, I would assume that a comprehensive review / read over would be sufficient for the standardized testing.

It would be counterproductive to memorize these, but a working knowledge would defiantly be helpful.

I personally did not experience needing to know these standards whatsoever and spent zero time studying them.  I would not recommend devoting your time on this.  If by chance I'm wrong and on your test you get a question on this - it'll be one question, not two.  Worth studying?  My view is there's enough to study as it is, minutiae like this just complicates things.

If you know what ASTM and UL are and their purpose - good to go.  That's my vote!
