I think this is what I did. I googled what chapters to study for PjM and got this: I really don’t remember too clearly as I took the exam over two years ago.

    10: Design Project Management
    11: Tech and BIM
    12: Quality Management
    13: Codes and Regulations
    15: Project Definition
    16: Risk Management
17: Agreements and the AIA Docs Program

Congrats Clarissa! I've taken the PcM and PjM so this is super helpful as it looks like I'm on the same path as you. Good luck on the next 3!

the study guide is great thanks for posting. I will let you know how my test goes.

On a side note, if anyone has a better source for construction details then hammer and hand it would be a welcome addition. I find that thier website is rather clumsy with poor UX design.

Currently I am using Fundamentals of Building Construction, Allen & Iano along with Building Construction Illustrated by Ching.

Hi Clarissa, Thank you for such a detailed description of your study schedule. It really helped me to pass my CE Exam yesterday. I have my PjM exam scheduled in 3 weeks and I was hoping to see your study plan for that but unfortunately that link doesn't work and it shows an error. It would be very helpful if you could re-upload your post on PjM again. Thank you once again for the time you took to write this wonderful study plan!

Hi Shruti - Thanks for your message. I don't know how it got taken down, but I actually got a new computer since I last posted that PjM post, so I don't have that saved anywhere anymore to repost. So sorry, and best of luck studying!

Thanks for your response! Just curious while studying for PjM if you think it really is necessary to study AHPP or I can get away with Ballast+Black Spectacles+Schiff Hardin Lectures? I don't want to study AHPP if I don't have to!

Honestly, I don’t think I personally would have passed without studying AHPP as well. It’s worth the time and cost, in my opinion.

That's good to know! I have the student version and not sure if that is enough, but I will look into purchasing the full book!

Hi Clarissa, I have one last question. I just got the AHPP and it's huge. What chapters did you study for the PjM exam? Since your post for PjM is no longer up, I had no other way of finding out. I just want to make sure I am effectively studying for the exam.

If you do not have a lot of experience in construction administration, you can also use the following website to become familiar construction details and specifications:

I still remember the good old days when almost every architect’s office has a book shelve filled with the Sweets Catalog.

Thank you for this valuable information Clarissa! I clicked on the PjM link, but it says the page doesn't exist anymore. I'm interest to know what sources and study methods you used. Thank you!
