    Fredrick,

    I strongly encourage you to stick with it and take PDD.  The material you studied for PPD absolutely will help you on the PDD test.  Also, if you have lots of experience preparing CD's, I think you'll find this test a little more up your alley.  PPD is more on the front end of design - Schematic Level.  PDD is the back end - Design Development and CD's.  I took PPD and PDD 10 days apart and was glad that I had all of the PPD info fresh in my memory. 

    That's my vote!
