I have the same question. I am confident with contract parts. My roommate told me she got lots of questions on concrete ,  like  concrete tests and also Excavation. Can someone please tell me what I should study for those? . Building construction illustraded book(cheng) does not have anything related.

Don't let those items scare you when they come up. You could google some of those items to make yourself more comfortable if you like, like "concrete slump test" or "Punch list walkthrough" or similar. Instead of diving too deep on the subject, however, I'd say just take a deep breath when those questions come up. Most of the time, the question is asking you to reason through the item in front of you using the information provided.

I certainly had a couple items come up that I had no way of preparing for, but if you imagine you are looking at it from the Construction & Evaluation perspective, you should be able to decipher the information in a way that helps you answer the question. Take coordination drawings, for instance. There may be a diagram from a consultant you need to review, and even if you don't know what the symbols mean, you might be able to reason through the diagram and figure it out.

I hope that helps, and good luck!
