How does the 2017 Contract Shift affect the Architect's Handbook of Professional Practice?

    Hey Brandon,

    Good question! The Architect's Handbook is still a great resource to use as you prepare for the ARE, however, you are correct that you will have to adjust how you prepare based on the updated AIA contracts. The changes to the contracts are very minor, so I recommend having a copy of the new contracts available when you are reading the AHPP.

    The AIA has published a comparison of the 2007 and 2017 contracts.  I've attached a link to the A201 changes, here. https://www.aiacontracts.org/resources/79876-a201-2017-vs-a201-2007-general-conditions- 

    This way you can have a record of changes if your copy of AHPP references the earlier versions.
