Question about determining exit capacity (width) of a corridor that connects two or more exit stairways. Refer to two examples below:
1) In the image below, where 2 exit stairways are rightly provided based on 324 total occupants, should corridor width be based on 324 / 2 = 162 occupants?
2) Similarly, if there is an office floor that has 600 total occupants, where 3 exit stairways are provided in the core, and connected by a corridor, should corridor width be based on 600 / 3 = 200 occupants?
I'm trying to get clarity on the principle, so please ignore the minimum corridor width for this...
