I took a quick 120 question exam and one of the questions was regarding the building height allowable, referring to a chart.
If a building has a use group H-5, and a construction type of III B, what is the maximum height the building is permitted to be?
Use the below table. (Answer in feet without units Ex 123)
The chart showed the allowable number of square feet. Per floor and the max. allowable stories – NOT FEET.
Is there a conversion for feet to stories? If so, it’s odd that the answer is 55’ since the number of stories in the chart is 3 stories.
Please help clarify. I appreciate it.
