What does NCARB do if a candidate encounters a question on an exam that he or she cannot answer due to an error in the question and provided image or diagram? I came across a question on one of the exams this morning that was asking me to do some calculations and locate the correct size item from a table, but the information provided by the table did not match the type of item the question asked for. I reported the problem immediately at the Prometric center and they instructed me to follow up with NCARB tomorrow. If a question is verified as unanswerable or lacking necessary information, can it or does it affect the exam score? Does the candidate have to go through the question challenge process in their state to alter a score if NCARB can confirm that there was an issue with a question?
