STUDY GUIDE (Based off S.Hardin, Kaplan, AHPP, AIA Contracts, NCARB Handbook)
CONTRACTS (w/ AIA numbering system, contracts linked)
Some basic tips;
1. If you're not comfortable with construction details, I would spend a couple hours refreshing your memory on stem walls, parapets, masonry walls, and details that showcase transition of material (stucco to hardie board). Focus on water proofing.
2. For the contracts, commit to understanding what the roles of the architect/contractor/owner are in each document. Focus on the design-bid-build series.
3. Answer those you know first and then come back, chances are answering another question down the line might jog your memory.
