    Hi Matt,

I'm currently studying for these 3 so I can't speak from experience, but this is what I wrote down from others who posted in the CE section about their study timeline. The first one is most relevant for you, but I included the others in case they gave any additional useful perspective.

“Studied about 3 weeks for CE after taking PcM and PjM”

Studied 5 weeks, 1-3 hours a day with longer sessions on weekends

2 months to study for  PjM and CE, 1 week apart

There aren't as many posts about studying for CE, but I usually suggest to read through the forum posts about the exam you're about to take, which will usually give a good starting point for timeline/content to study. If you've already done that I apologize for just sharing what I had copy/pasted from them, but if you haven't it might be a good exercise for you.

    Hope that helps, good luck!

P.S. I have a friend named Matt who just passed PcM and PjM and is about to take CE next. It threw me off for a second and I thought you might have been him (which I would feel silly answering with the above info since I had already told him that), but you are in fact a different person. Good luck on your exams, I hope you're as awesome as he is.

    Hey Matt,

I studied for PcM and PjM simultaneously and took them a week apart. I ended up adding CE to the mix about 2.5 weeks after on kind of a whim and passed. As I'm sure you've read, there's a lot of overlap between the three exams. If you feel comfortable with the material you read for PcM and PjM and have a good bit of CA experience I wouldn't wait too long to take CE for the sake of not forgetting things.

It's been a few months since I took the exam, but definitely make sure you know all of the contracts listed in the matrix. Understand project close out procedures. I had a a few hot spot questions, so I'd say knowing construction details / on site experience is a plus.

    Good luck!
