    Hey Jacob, 

    Your rolling clock does not reset when you transition to ARE 5.0. For Example, if you passed CDS 3 years ago and transitioned to ARE 5.0 today, the Construction & Evaluation credit in 5.0 would expire in 2 years. Does that make sense?

    Also, if you transition with only a pass on the BDCS division, you don't receive credit for any ARE 5.0 divisions. I recommend checking out the ARE transition calculator.

    Final comment, if you do transition, your rolling clock would begin in ARE 5.0 when you pass your first exam. Hope this helps!
