The typical study time seems to be around 8 weeks, give or take. Some people tack on a couple extra weeks if they are studying for both PPD and PDD at the same time.

I did around 5 weeks with the majority of the studying happening the last couple weeks before the exam.

I studied for both PPD and PDD for 8 weeks, but I think it depends on how quickly you read. I probably could have used some more time (either longer study period or more hours each day - only studied 1-2 hours most days).

It may not be for everyone, but I encourage everyone to study for both PPD and PDD together and take them close together (~1 week). It's a lot of info but there is a significant amount of overlap (I'd say about 75%) and you'll be reading the same information again if you take them separately. Totally up to you, though.

    Good luck!

    Hi Scott,

I am struggling with both PPD and PDD, do you know of tutors or thought of tutoring yourself? I am very frustrated and need help. I feel like I am studying something wrong. Please email me at larisavsherbakova@gmail.com

    hi laura,

keep posting and hopefully people can help you out.

i am going to post a summary of what i am going to be studying. maybe you can review it and see if it works for you?

maybe you can start a new post and people can help you figure out what you need to do?

stay in the game and get them done. don't fold.
