Studying Ballast Method

    Hi Anthony,

Personally, I didn't find Ballast to be super helpful when studying for PPD, PDD, and PA. It gives a basic introduction to concepts, but the books that NCARB references were where I spent most of my time (and reading the books they reference gives me all the info Ballast does - and more). Glad you're finding Ballast to be helpful, though.

Either way, I didn't read the whole book to start. I've just been reading each section for each exam. I think there's a lot of overlap between some exams so it may be useful to read them in groups, but I don't think it's necessary to read the whole thing. From what most people say, PDD and PPD pair well together (and PA overlaps a small amount with PPD), and PcM, PjM, and CE have a lot of overlap. So if anything, I'd read them in sections.

    Good luck!
