Thank you so much, Tatyana. I am not an active member of the community, I just read the posts from other candidates and I barely reply and give my feedback, but this time thanks to you for sharing your study materials and just being straightforward. I have not taken any test yet, and every time I see a post of a candidate that passed and the post is like 3 pages long it rather than help me it scares me. thank you for the tips !!

I took and passed PcM. Just wanted to say that your study guide is honestly far better than Ballast/Kaplan text reading. I would say that anyone taking the exam could pass using your study guide. If they were unsure of items or needed more clarification, they could read those sections further in the AHPP.

    Hi,

This is incredible! I went over your study guide and is great, CLEAR and concise. Thanks for sharing this!

I just graduated a year ago, and have only a year of work experience, I want to take the risk and take the exam, but as everyone else, IM FREAKING OUT haha! And with such a small amount of time of having graduated, I dont know if Im ready.

Do you think that this exam requires more than a year office/work expertise? Is it possible to pass this exam with only a year of having actual exposure in an architecture firm?

    Thanks!

    Thanks guys, happy to help.

Michelle- I think it's possible to pass this exam with only a year of "real life experience" if your experience aligns with the subject matter. I would recommend reviewing the study guide and if something is unfamiliar, do a bit more research online to familiarize yourself with the concept. This test it little memorization and mostly real world application. I would say, however, that most architectural professionals that I've networked with recommend that you test for your license as soon out of school as possible. The testing preps you for the real world and helps you move up quicker. So don't freak out! You're on the right path.

Michelle, I have been working only for a year as well. Took practice management two days ago and passed. So study hard and don't worry about your lack of experience.

Tatyana's post was good for me on my last couple of days of studying, concise and focused. So thanks Tatyana!

On to PjM, good luck all!

I'll go ahead and study hard to pass this exam :)

I'm not the best at exam taking, but I'll make it happen somehow haha!

Thanks again Tatyana for your study guide!

    Good luck to everyone :)

BOOM ~ Thank you Tatyana Aksamentova, in such short words, aimed directly at the positive, your words are beyond inspiring.  And the content neatly packaged, sure takes out the wonder of just what all do we have to know for this exam.  I will take your advice in sharing wisely, and will follow your concept on time management, stay awesome, and good luck for the next one.  Best

Hello Tatyana. I failed PcM four or five times already. Could you tell me what material is Profesional Practice by Seagal? Is it a book? Who recommends it? If it is a book, it is something boring as the handbook? I am failing in the Financial part. I perform well in the other sections. This time I had reinforced all the ratios, billing rates, etc and the exam report come out always identical. I struggled with one of the case studies because finding the information was not that easy as in the other case study. I passed PjM and C&E but PcM is consumming my mind and my wallet. Thanks

    Hey colleagues ~

I drew a PcM Financial Ratios "Excel Matrix Chart" and shared it with my friend; she said I should share this with everyone, so I started this thread:

    https://are5community.ncarb.org/hc/en-us/community/posts/360033390313-PcM-FINANCIAL-RATIOS-Matrix-Chart

It may be too complicated for others; however, some have better relations with memorization, yet I am more technically visual.

    Hope this helps!
