Unfortunately I failed the PA exam and I am not sure what should I study. The area that I need to study more us Content Area 4: Building Analysis and programing.my score was 40% for this area. other areas my score was between 62-69%.
Also, It was a question in exam, that I am not sure what study martial should study to answer this type of question. the question was a bout recommending the potential buyer/owner to purchase the existing building and converting to their use. I should pick with building from four option is suitable for the client. what study martial do you recommend for these types of questions?
Thank you in advance

Hi Zahra,
I failed the PA exam twice before finally passing it last week. What helped me tremendously in that content area was Amber’s 40 Minutes of Competency (MoC) series. Michael Ermann does a great job of explaining the thought process behind each aspect of site analysis using real-life examples before diving into the exam questions. He also expands on the topics in a way that really deepens your understanding.
For PA, there are dozens of 40 MoC videos, and I highly recommend watching all of them.

Sorry to hear that, it's a difficult exam with a lot to cover. What was your total score, how far off were you from passing?
That 4th section is the bulk of the exam so it should become your focus to better your knowledge around it for your retake. Think of the questions you had issues with or didn't know well enough or at all, and consider the materials and content of the question/answers. Is it program hierarchy, SF calculations, historic preservation, boring reports, etc?
Desk Crits, Problem Seeking and Site Planning And Design were my vital resources in studying, along with the NCARB practice exam and other various mock questions.
