PSI Online Technical Difficulties
I had issues with the PSI online proctoring, taking my PjM exam today. I was 30-40 minutes into the exam and it said I didn't have the internet capacity even though it looked like I did on my taskbar. When that notification popped up, it immediately shut the screen down and restarted the program. I had to re-scan my environment and confirm with an online proctor each time, but it was able to pick up where I left off before the technical issue. Will this affect my scoring through NCARB?

I had issues with PSI on all 6 exams (and two retakes). Screen would go white or an error would pop up saying I lost connection on every single one of them. I realized that I needed to expect it happen and to prepare mentally to lose connection and restart the entry process. That said, it never caused me to need to retake an exam or lose my place in the exam once I was granted access back into it.
Make sure your computer is connected to the internet via internet cable. I had to buy a 50' internet cable to run across the house. Right before the exam, run an internet speed test and screenshot your speed and connection incase you need to reach out to ncarb to show that the issues were not on your end, but PSI. It's at least worth letting them know the error happened.
I saw at home testing as a gift from NCARB and the stresses of lost connections are far better than going to a PSI test center.

Thanks for your response battjes2006 . It made me feel more confident that it the difficulties didn't affect my score...and after receiving my score report, they didn't!
The ethernet cable is something I'll look into along with the internet test to show NCARB. I did submit a help request to NCARB but haven't heard anything back, but just wanted to let them know what had happened with PSI.
The anxiety of stopping and starting the test is almost not worth me doing online proctoring again, I think I'll return back to the testing center.
