Negative Testing with PSI Experience with Proctor No Show
This past Sunday I had an exam scheduled at my regular PSI location. Previously I have had negative experiences with the proctor showing up late and making everyone wait. However, this time the building was locked, and no one was inside. I eventually was able to enter when someone exited. I got to the suite and no one was there. After wasting an hour of my time trying to contact PSI or NCARB (NCARB does not take calls over the weekend). I had to simply give up and leave. While I managed to reach someone at PSI, they do not have any NCARB testing records which is incomprehensible to me. Unsure how the relationship between PSI and NCARB works.
I understand my experience is not unique as I have read many negative reviews and heard from many friends after this terrible experience. It's tough because there doesn't seem to be a way to launch a formal complaint against PSI as they have no NCARB records and their staff will just tell you they do not know what you are talking about.
On NCARB's customer service end, all they could offer me was my exam seat back when I called on the Monday after so I could reschedule. This does not make up for the time wasted and the disruption caused to my schedule and life, but I suppose it's better than nothing?
Just wanted to share this here for when this inevitably happens to someone else. Hopefully you find this post and feel less panicked because of it.

This happened to me once before. The testing center I've tested at with no problem during a weekday I had scheduled a test on a Saturday. The proctor did not show up. Around 12 other people and I who also were there to take a test ended up waiting outside the testing center room for over an hour.
It's frustrating how one person not showing up to do their job can make an already stressful day that much more stressful for people taking exams.
