ARE Practice Management study material
I'm currently studying for the PcM exam and wanted to ask if the Architectural Student Handbook of Professional Practice contains the same study material as the full edition of the Architect’s Handbook of Professional Practice. Would I be missing any important content by relying solely on the student version? I have the 15th edition student version from graduate school and would prefer not to purchase the full edition unless it’s truly necessary—especially if it means saving some money.
Any advice would be extremely helpful. thanks!

I get wanting to save money, but the student version won't cut it for PcM. I did a side by side comparison a few years back and the student version was missing so much content I actually threw it in the trash.
You'll get your money's worth from the full Version 15. It's such a huge part of passing PcM, PjM, and CE that you'd be at a real disadvantage without it.
Also, this is truly the one book you need a hard copy of. You don't read it beginning to end. Infact you'll need to jump around constantly while studying for these exams, and not being able to quickly flip pages makes it way more difficult to use a PDF effectively.

I have a physical copy of The Architect's Handbook of Professional Practice and I just got a copy of the ebook. I find it hard to constantly switch between my computer and a physical book. Plus, the AHPP is so big and heavy, it is not comfortable to read without straining my neck. You can use the search bar to search the ebook although it doesn't always find the terms easily. Anyway, I use both now, and I think it is better this way. Of course, it is more costly, as I had to buy two versions of the same book.

I agree with others about getting the full version. The student version is not enough. AHPP is the book for PJM, PCM, and CE (even a bit related to PDD ), so I would invest in it. Good luck!
