    For steps 5 and 6, the max ratio of impervious to lot area is 42% (5000 SF x .42 = 2100 SF). The existing building occupies 1400 SF which leaves 700 SF of surface area to be occupied by the shed and the new parking spot. The new parking spot takes up 162 SF, leaving 538 SF to work with, and leaving 480 SF as the maximum shed size the architect can recommend within the limitations.
