Pass score range
I received a failing score on my first attempt at the PA exam. The average percentage of my total score is 65.25%. Isn't something wrong? Your help will be appreciated."

Some exams need a higher score than others. Looks like you were super close to passing. I use this free tool from amberbook to see how close I was. https://www.amberbook.com/are-calculator/

Well appreciated for your respond -
I'm sorry to hear about your exam result, newyork56. I understand how frustrating it must be after all the hard work you put in. Know that you are not alone and it is very common to have a miss (of a few misses) along the way. I struggled with PPD during my ARE journey and it was a difficult obstacle to overcome.
Here is a great article from NCARB about what score you need to pass each division. As you can see, each division has a range, not a specific percentage needed to pass. It can be confusing, but because each exam has a different set of questions distributed differently amongst the content areas, the passing result can vary. Overall, you need at least a 550 scaled score to pass, which is the aggregate of all correctly scored items.
Try not to get caught up in the numbers. Take a look at your score report to determine which areas you performed well in and which could use some improvement. Focus on those weaker areas by doing a deeper dive in study materials for those topics, while continuing to do passive studying of your stronger areas (in order to keep those consistent). Regardless, it sounds like you were pretty close to passing so I know you'll do great on the next round!
Keep your head up and good luck on your retake!
