PPI2PASS and PPD - Structures

PPI spends a lot of time on load calculations. I dont think we need to know load calculations for for the PPD exam. The ARE handbook seems to be asking for structural sizing, what am i missing?

  I'd agree with you that this is a PDD topic.  In my courses, I outline which chapters in Ballast pertain to each exam because IMHO PPI does not get it right.  Good luck & hope this helps!
