Passed two exams on my own - Should I get Amber Book?
I've taken and successfully passed PA and PPD on the first try using mostly free resources online, Building Construction Illustrated and Desk Crits.
I'm planning on taking PDD next, but am stressing about my preparedness for it.
Is it worth it to pay for Amber Book when I'm already this far into the process?
(side note, I feel I already have adequate resources compiled for PjM and PcM although I haven't thoroughly gone through them yet)

I was taking ncarb practice exams with ZERO studying and getting like 50-65% scores. I started the amber book course and it actually destroyed my confidence with the amount of information they throw at you. I didn't know what I didn't know. Now, I don't know yet if this is a good or bad thing. I'm guessing good, because the information I already intuited in those practice exams will still be there (hopefully). 1 month of amber book is equal to the price of 1 failed exam. So it's up to you.

My experience with PDD was that it has so much random information in it and Amberbook covers a decent amount of it in some form. If you only get 1 month of it, definitely hammer out the flash cards for PA/PPD/PDD/CE to at least get exposure to as much random content as possible, as well as the systems and construction videos. Same for building codes if you aren't familiar with a lot of it -- similar to the PPD test. Fire ratings, ADA.
It was easily my least liked test because it was just 30-40% "I hope you know this" type questions. From big picture things to detail minutiae.
