Failed Again but I did better
Ok so I failed PjM for the fourth time. This time was different. I improved by 46 points and I'm much closer to the passing score of 550 that's needed.
Some things I did different this time:
1. I really let the objectives lead my study times. I broke each of them down and tried my best to understand the overall direction of them. I also averaged the number of questions I would get in the exam on each topic.
2. I practiced questions every time I studied and tried to identify which objectives were associated with questions.
3. I reviewed why my answers were right and definitely why they were wrong. And used that to know what I needed to read more on.
4. I scheduled a weekly meet up with others to discuss topics and go over questions.
5. I made a target of 2hrs of studying per day during the week and tracked my study time and gave myself a score for the week. This is what worked for me and helped me to be more consistent.
6. The only time I used multiple resources was to cross reference certain topics.
These were minor changes, but they helped me to improve so I thought I would share them with you. I realized that I took the exams too far apart, so I always had to study from scratch in a sense. I plan on taking PjM again in the next 60 days so that I can build on what I already know.
