PA reschedule unsccessful

Hello all, has anyone encountered a situation like mine?

I rescheduled my PA exam three weeks before the exam day, it told me it was successful on the web page. Because I was on vacation, I did not notice that there wasn't a confirmation email at all. And it turns out it was not successful, and they counted as I missed the exam. 

I called NCARB customer service, and they asked for proof to be eligible for a credit. Unfortunately, I did not take any screenshots. 

Is this common?
