whiteboard and calculator
whiteboard and calculator need to be executed after answering each question on ncarb demo exam, is that also the case with in person exam??

I do not use the whiteboard in the actual exam. It is too slow for me to draw anything, and too stressful. In all 6 tests I think I used whiteboard once on PA and once in PPD.
I do however use the Memory page and functions of the calculator constantly. I save to memory each important or memorable step of a calculation so I can refer back to those values and enter them in again later in the calculation

Yes, they are incredibly painful to use during a timed exam (and yes, it is the same for in-person exams). I understand why they got rid of scratch paper (to an extent), but it's so much more efficient to have a pencil and paper on hand. There have been times I've gotten so frustrated with both of them that I just guessed an answer simply to move on. Like the exam itself isn't already difficult enough, they add another hurdle on top.
