The sources provided as top references in the ARE 5.0 handbook, specifically for the PPD references are extremely dense. For instance, the listed AGS reference is over 1,000 pages and the MEEB reference is 1,900 pages. I understand that NCARB is not recommending we read through the entire reference material, however, little to no guidance or recommendation has been provided on how to abstract the pertinent data from these resources so that we can properly be prepared for the exam.
I have attempted to sift through the content area objectives of PPD and simultaneously hone in on relative content in the reference material, however I feel that this method is less direct and more general than what is necessary for properly preparing for the exam.
Can you provide any additional advice and or study strategy ?.
