Mock ARE quesiton - Roof Fire Rating

Isn't the Exception b is only for F-1,H, M & S-1? The question is talking about a theatre with two level of seating levels (Group A definitely) but the correct answer is 0 hour of fire-rating. Someone please explain if you know something about this.

  You missed the clear height of 35'-0" above highest level of seating.

  If you are talking about Exception b, for a roof structure above 20 feet, roof fire-rating is not required = 0 hours, I didn't miss it. The screenshot is too small, but that used exception NCARB have only works with the listed Groups I mentioned above, not to group A.
  
  However, I checked the Table 601 on IBC did mention Group A, see snipshot below..

  That's interesting, what code year is referenced? I think this is a mistake in the practice exam. Language in some of the later code did not include Group A occupancies. See image from 2015 IBC. I looked at the 2012, 2018 and 2021 code and its similar to the image below.
