I failed as well which is my 6th attempt by way. I felt like I had a good grasp on the concepts and even scored high on practice exams. Black Spects 65% average and Amberbook 70%. I have taken breaks in the past but it’s annoying paying for the exams and study material to not even past. The sensible economical person in me wants stop the journey, but I have a feeling in my future I will regret it. So I will just keep on pushing until I get it.

Anthony, something to keep in mind is that the Amber book test is much easier than the ARE practice test. I suggest using the ballast/ PPI practice tests to challenge yourself further. They are annoyingly difficult but I think maybe better preparation for the real thing

Anthony, you might perform better if you take the exam in your own language. I know the ARE is incredibly difficult for us foreign students.

If that’s the case, definitely apply for ESL accommodations if you haven’t!

    Antony,

If you are commenting on a post for international students, and you don't identify yourself as an international student, then we just might have found out why you are not passing the tests! LOL

    Just kidding..

This question was in the general pcm questions - not international ;-)

I posted the initial comment... it wasn't even a question, it was me just venting.

"...The questions are more like riddles, with all the useless information and the clock ticking for our despair, making it impossible for international students..."

Remember, exams are just one measure of your knowledge and skills, and they don't define your worth or intelligence. Keep your head up, stay focused on your goals, and trust in your abilities. No matter what the outcome, you've already come so far, and I believe in your ability to overcome any challenge that comes your way. You've got this!
