PDD Exam

I have taken the PDD exam twice, the last time I took it I got a score or 508. What else should I study?

• I have used:
• Ballest
• ARE handbook
• NCARB practice exams
• AHPP a little bit
• building construction illustrated

  Yes Amberbook helped, as did Hyperfine-they have a PDD/PPD only version which is a one time payment. Also Building Codes Illustrated and Building Construction Illustrated. I personally think Ballast isn't much of a help and can be discouraging, I also don't think AHPP is that relevant to this test.

  I haven't passed this one yet... though I would recommend Hyperfine (PDD) assignments and MEEB.

  I used Amber Book and Hyperfine for PPD and PDD recently. I failed PPD 2 weeks ago but I passed PDD on the first try 2 days ago. I’m agreeing with everyone here, and I would highly recommend Amber Book and Hyperfine for PDD. Good luck with your studies!
