Is the Frost line an important factor to consider when we talk about Pile Foundations? I know it is important to consider it for shallow foundations, but what about the Pile Foundations? I was thinking above all about Friction Pile...

  Friction piles go so very far below the frost line that heaving from freeze/thaw isn’t in play.
