NCARB newest rule changes to exam rescheduling is more "take take take"
NCARB just discovered and reported on how large portions of this community were being put at a disadvantage by the rolling clock. Flexibility is key for young professionals aiming to pass these rigorous exams while juggling work deadlines, family responsibilities, and the general chaos that accompanies contemporary life.
Now NCARB is deciding to financially punish those that need to reschedule an exam. If anyone needs to reschedule a dental appointment, a doctor's appointment, a haircut, literally any other type of appointment - there is a simple standardized method to do so without having someone put their hand in your pocket. But NCARB has instead decided to that they are entitled to more of our money. The greed is blatant, and being told how this actually helps the community is insulting.
This decision is a bad look for the organization.

Sameer-Andrew,
NCARB has received extensive feedback from candidates who are unable to find available appointments in test centers due to the very high volume of reschedules. When you schedule an exam, you reserve a seat.
The new policy still gives you an opportunity to reschedule once at no charge. The goal is to minimize the number of reschedules so that more candidates can find seats while still giving everyone the opportunity and flexibility to reschedule.
