Hi All,

This question from the PDD practice exam wasn't easy for me. I could have told you bond-related information was in Division 00 but that's where my knowledge ends. What is a good study source for this? I reviewed the NCARB recommended books for PDD and couldn't find much info. Thanks!

  You're not likely to encounter something this specific on the exam, but CSI's Intro to Construction Contract Administration series on YouTube is helpful for wrapping your head around some of this content.

  Thank you! I should have specified - this question is straight from NCARB's full length practice exam. Will take a look at those videos. If anyone else had a study material that was helpful for them, would love to hear about it!

  Just following up. I scoured the NCARB-recommended study materials and none seem to cover questions like these. This question is from NCARB and they supposedly used the study materials to generate the questions... so I assume I'm missing some resource!

  Rachel - My guess would be that it may be listed somewhere in CSI's Manual of Practice. More broadly, bond requirements would be mentioned in A201, which is what I feel this question is getting at.

  My general advice, though, would be to not stress over questions with this level of specificity - especially for PDD. In my opinion, this is a poor question that's more-so about memorization than understanding concepts.

  There's always a chance you may get a question like this, but the amount of material that may pop up on PDD is far too vast to worry about the memorization of one-off items, if that makes sense. Focus more on understanding overall concepts and you'll be good.
