Daylight
When we say uniform daylight, windows on North get uniform daylight throughout the day right? Does South window get uniform daylight?
Thanks for help in advance!

North never gets direct sunlight. If a question asks about 'direct sunlight' the answer would never be north. I have heard that artists like studios with northern light because it's indirect and consistent. In a cold climate, north is going to be the coldest area though.
South gets the most sunlight. East gets direct sunlight in morning, and West in the evening. Be sure to know how to read sun angle charts for PA.
Hope this helps!

Manisha, you are correct. . . North windows get uniform (indirect) sunlight because the sun never shines directly in north windows (or ALMOST never). South light is most certainly not uniform. On clear winter days when the sun is low the light is not diffuse/uniform, but rather direct. At other times, and on cloudy days, the light is diffuse/indirect.
