I finally passed my last PPD exam and I'm done with AREs!
I took an online proctoring test this time. I decided to test at home, since during my last two attempts in the Testing Center, their computer crashed several times.
I didn't have any problems during the at home test, no computer crashing and no security errors.
For the last two months, I attended Michael Riscica Boot Camp and it was worth every penny. I know it's expensive, but this was the best investment for me. Please don't make the same mistake I did, and don't wait to sign up for the ARE Boot Camp!
I really regret that I didn't sign up earlier, and just got frustrated with the process of failing ARE exams several times. Studying together, learning from each other, makes a big difference in understanding the concepts that are needed to pass AREs.
Also Elif's questions were a big help for both PPD and PDD exams. I also bought an Amber Book course which helped me pass PDD.
Online proctoring was a much better experience for me than in person. I felt much more comfortable and relaxed than in the test center. I did the test run a week before, followed all NCARB/ Prometric guidelines and I suspect the timing of my test, middle of the week, not weekend worked in my favor. Also, I used my son’s gaming desktop computer hardwired to the network.
PPD was my last exam, and it took me several attempts to pass it.
Keep trying! It's awesome to be DONE!!
