    Hi Armen,

Get Hyperfine. It is very useful and will help you to practice for this exam. Also, get a copy of the Fundamentals of Bldg. Construction. Any book that helps with detailing will come in handy.

I used ppi2pass practice exams for both those exams.  PPD and PA overlap, FYI.  I usually recommend continuing to study for the same exam if you failed.  You should read all of ballast - the PPD and PA sections in order to pass PPD.  Also read ASC.  It's easy to read, and the best resource for passing PPD, in my opinion.

Yes, the Fundamentals book (and youtube videos) are good for PDD construction details.

    Good luck!

    Thanks Fernando and Rebekka.

I will consider those options and hope I can pass.

I have over 15 years of detailing experience and I was thinking PPD and PDD would be easier for me to pass, but I guess I was wrong! :)

The area in PPD that I was not prepared for was structural load/diagrams which I had about 4-5 questions of them. For some reason I was thinking they are part of PDD and not PPD. Again I was wrong!

I need focusing on them more I guess.

    Thanks again for your help!
