Online Exam - Positive
I loathe going to the testing center, it gives me a lot of anxiety and has a lot of distractions. My office was very generous is setting up a designated room for testing. Last week I took 3 ARE exams online and had no issues. From seeing other people's comments I wanted to share that this was on a desktop that was connected with ethernet, very high speed internet and a external camera. Maybe the ethernet is the key? I highly recommend doing the test run a week before your exam, that calmed my nerves and allowed me to troubleshoot minor things.
There was one human error, someone walked by the room and security had me rearrange the desk, I lost 10 minutes of exam time doing this. The room I was in has hard walls on 3 sides and a glass wall where the door is, my screen was facing out to the hallway, I didn't expect anyone to walk by because I put up signs but this was the first time anyone used the room. To solve this I obtained a 4x8 foam core panel and put it behind me, we are working on a better solution.
Hope this helps!
