I was taking an online PPD and was kicked out twice. I did everything right, even did a practice run earlier. My setup was my laptop (closed) connected to an external monitor. My connection was solid, my laptop was plugged in. On the third time I reconnected, the agent doing the check-in said I couldn't have my laptop set up with my monitor the way I did. I continuously tried to explain to him that it wasn't a "dual" setup, since my laptop is closed. He definitely did not believe me and just gave me a customer number to call. For which offices are closed.
Is there a way to remediate this? My laptop screen is significantly smaller, and I don't even know if it's worth changing my setup to reconnect, or just forgo this exam altogether. At this point I have been away from the exam for 15+ minutes. I don't like the way that looks on record. . Not a great experience. I would rather just not even submit this and just pay to reschedule in person.
