Ballast PA Case Study #267?missing soil boring log?
anyone can explain in ballast #267
"to meet the stated conditions, the best location for parking paving is at test borehole B-1 or slightly to the west of it. The boring log shows the shallowest amount of fill that is to be removed and replaced with select fill,"??
it doesn't include the actual boring log, only the statement. not sure if the boring log missed or there is evidence in the statement that explains the answer?

Hi. On p 3-28 in the section called "Subsurface Conditions," it mentions that B-1 and B-2 have 7' of sandy clay fill. It also mentions that the rest of the site generally has 32 ft of silty, clay sands.
On the real exam, I highly suggest using the Keywood Search Tool for a question like this. If you cannot find a table or chart, Type in "B-1" and it will give you a list of everywhere "B-1" is in the text.
Hope this helps!
