PjM - inaccuracy of sample question?
Question:
An architect is responding to an RFP for an architect-led design-build multi-building office park project. Which of the following will be the primary responsibilities of the architect while managing the project? Check the four that apply.
One of the correct answer is: Assume responsibility for the accuracy of the consultant's work.
Based on AIA C401 - 1.4
The architect shall not be responsible for the acts or omissions of the consultant.
Does it mean the answer maybe wrong as it conflicts with the contract? Thanks for your help.

This question has been asked several times. To the owner, the architect IS responsible for all architect’s consultant’s errors because they are under the architect’s contract.
AIA C401 is the contract between the architect and the consultant. To the consultant, the architect is NOT responsible for the consultant’s errors, the consultant is responsible for his/her own errors.
The architect may have to pay the owner for architect’s consultant’s errors, and then sue the consultants to recover the money.
